"A botanical description of the Dionaea muscipula, or Venus's fly-trap," with special half-title (p. [35]-41), is written in the form of a letter to 'Sir Charles Linnaeus' and dated Sept. 23, 1769
Includes an engraved frontispiece showing different kinds of casks and boxes for transporting plants, and a hand-colored plate of the "Venus's Flytrap" signed by the engraver James Roberts
